People say that hypebeast are just individuals that just buy the newest threads to look cool and have no sense of style what so ever, BUT!…there are individuals that do have a sense of fashion but also like to keep updated with street wear trends. We go through the top 10 things a proper hypebeast would have in the closet.

SB Dunk
The SB is one the most fun shoe types out there because there are so many different variations and each variation has it’s own funky name making it just a fun item to collect. This is definitely a nice weapon to have as a hypebeast.

Stussy
Stussy is one the original street wear brands and have been around for about 25 years. As a hypebeast or a street wear enthusiast it is important to have some type of Stussy merchandise in your collection to commemorate the legendary brand.

A Futuristic Watch
You heard of the Rolex watch. It is definitely an accessory needed for an elegance style of dress, but if you are a hypebeast there are different types of watches that usually give off that futuristic look. Some of those brands are G-Shock, Nixon, and Nooka.

Adidas
Everybody knows about Adidas, everybody has them, but it’s important to recognize one of the first shoes that were considered hip (with the help of run dmc ofcoarse). Being a hypebeast you wouldn’t be able to just get away with shell toes, you would need to have something bit more exclusive.

Collaboration X Merchandise
Two heads are always better then one, and with the street wear culture, designers and companies are always finding ways to collaborate designs which usually amplifies the look by 2 fold. As a hypebeaster, having at least one collab apparel will show that you do keep up to date with your favorite brand’s activity and who they work with.

Vans
Hypebeasts are usually young, and that usually means lazy so a slip on shoe which is refreshingly inexpensive is definitely going to be in a closet. On the other hand a lot of individuals like vans in general because of the simplicity which I do agree.

Shoes Still In The Box
Just like collecting comics, there are going to be some issues that are left in the plastic wrap and can not be open. Hypebeast or shoe collectors in general have those pairs of that cannot be touched so they are left in the box just as collector items.

Shemagh
The scarf that has been around for a while but it is getting more commercial is now popular accessory amongst hypebeast. I wouldn’t say this is a must but they do tend to add a little spice to hypebeast outfits.

Slim Jeans
As a hypebeast you can not just wear any jeans, the denim has to be able to showcase those exclusive kicks, and that’s where slim jeans come in. They are not overly baggy but there not skinny tight to cut off circulation.

A Slew Of T-shirts
Graphic tees were one of the trends that help start the whole new street wear culture (along with the kicks). Usually the focal point of a hypebeast outfit is the t-shirt because more often than not there is a creative design on it. You can never have too many t-shirts because people are never going to stop being creative and there are a lot of street wear t-shirt lines out there.
