When I decided to do it small this NYE at friendly get together, I wasn’t the only person thinking along these lines. Many friends in TO and NY have also decided to keep it Lowkey and I can’t put my finger on the reason. Personally, I am opting out  because I want to start this year on a more personal note, and I am sure there is individual reason for most people, but I am just trying to understand why many people are thinking in the same direction.

This trend is not effecting just my circle of friends though, Kanye West, superstar extraordinaire, has also opted out of the NYE parties and clubs,

IF THERE’S ANY PARTIES ON NEW YEARS WITH MY NAME ON IT, DOOOON’T YOUUUU BELIEEEEEVE IT! I’M STAYING AT HOME FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FIVE YEARS. WE DID 98 SHOWS THIS PAST YEAR!!! I JUST WANT TO CHILL, HOOP AND WATCH SOME MOVIES!
