A lot of people were not feeling Electric Circus, but I enjoyed, it was different. This song, which was off that album, was no exception, if you guessed the song was about some sort of sexual escapade, you’re correct. This would of have given Common, a different image…which could of been a good thing.

Cool Kids – Gold And A Pager

The new kids on the block, released a video not too long ago for the track black mags, but…with rise in street wear and 80’s fads, it would of been more beneficial to release this song, but they still might…

Binary Star – Glen Close

Binary star is an underground group so they are not going to get the same funding like Kanye West or someone like that, but nevertheless, this song was done very well, and because of the skill of rap, you can picture the whole story unfold in front of your eyes.

Jay-Z – Beach Chair

Jay-Z is known as the swagger happy, former thug turned 30, hustler, who creates tracks with crazy flow, but when heard this track from him, I got to see a different side to him, not so much with the lyrics but with his ability to try something new…This would have been an intense video, and people would experienced that different side as well.

Black Star – Thieves of The Night

When I first heard this track a long time ago, it was touching because it spoke on some real issues. I think if a video was released for this track, it would have made people really sit down and take a look at them.

Nas – Unauthorized Biography Rakim

A lot of people are now missing that hip hop that they use to enjoy. With a track like this, the bass driven beat would have made it somewhat of a club track, and it would of also brought the legend of Rakim into the Limelight.

Nas Feat. Jay-Z – Black Republicans
