Alex Says “Not Everyone Is Built For Fame”

I was watching a special on television the other day which was discussing celebrities and how people are so addicted to this phenomenon. There was a statement made in this segment that made me wonder. The statement was that instead of individuals proclaiming their goal career that they would like to achieve in the entertainment industry; i.e., actress, movie star, musician, we rather hear individuals stating that they want to be famous. I look around and I see this amongst many individuals.
I consider models to be the biggest culprit for solely attempting to gain fame through their actives. Now don’t get me wrong I am not implying that you do not follow your dreams, by all means go were ever your heart wants you to go but individuals should do that with the right intentions. I see a lot of females that have glamour photos on all these social networks claiming to be an aspiring model but do not take the appropriate route to learn the art and techniques of professional modeling. I feel like if it is a serious aspiration for some females, they should definitely go forward but learn about how it is done, and the appropriate steps to take to do it. Simply posing in bikini and lingerie outfits does not elevate anyone to a model status (unless they are going for car model or video girl).
The other culprit for fame aspiration are musicians, more specifically the rappers; however I believe that the rappers intentions are not just to simply get famous but also to get rich quick as well. This might seem like a justifiable end to the means but it is not. If your goal is just to accumulate wealth through your art form you will miss an essential ingredient used create and master your craft, which is “love”. The best jobs are not based on titles and salary but are based on how much you one enjoys their profession, now I do not simply mean just fun, but the self fulfillment someone feels upon completing the tasks of their jobs. Contrary to popular belief having a career in rap is far from a walk in a park but that will be saved for another post. It is important that an artist knows the hard work that is included in being a successful musician.
There are a lot of other professions that individuals take on for the sole purpose of gaining fame (clothing line, record label, etc.) but the intentions of the individual pursuing the profession determines their dedication, their hard work, and ultimately their success or their failure. To conclude it is important to know exactly what you want out of life, and to make sure that your goals tie in with your aspiration because not everyone is built for fame!!
