During a recent interview with Hustler, Ice Cube told the magazine what movies he wished passed up and what movies he wished he didn’t.

Not surprisingly, the one he wished he passed up on was John Carpenter’s Ghost of Mars which was completely bashed by critics for its lacking story line and extremely cheap special effects.
The movie he wished he hadn’t passed up was Menace II Society. After his classic role in the movie Boyz II Men, the Hughes brothers came knocking on his door wanting to cast him as the role of O-Dawg (Lorenz Tate’s Character) but he declined.

“I had just done Boyz N The Hood and Trespass (and) I didn’t want to get stuck playing just characters from the ‘hood … That’s the only one (movie) I said, ‘Damn, that’s a good movie I wish I had been in.’”

I think he would of played a nice O-Dawg, we can never know, because he passed it up.
