So since announcement for the Iphone’s Canadian Debut, many have been speculating, including myself, that Rogers, the only company getting the innovative phone, will screw us hard with its already high data packages.

Well, I have some good news, actually Nadir Mohamed, Rogers President and Chief Operationg Officer does. In a telecom summit yesterday morning, Mohamed explained in the conference that the cell phone has reached a new age with an integration of high level of broadband browsing, and to compensate for that, Rogers will be updating their plans in accordance to the launch of the Iphone and other heavy-data phones.

Rogers has not given anymore details on the pricing of the plans but they have stated they will not be offering an unlimited plan similar to AT&T.
