Shuffle, which takes place periodically at the Revival lounge on College St, is one of the most celebrated parties in Toronto. Last night I finally got a chance to experience the fun filled event for myself.

We arrived at the venue at about 12am to meet a nice line which was not too long but enough to imply that the event was busy.

As we entered the event we noticed that it was jammed packed, but we also noticed that everyone was relaxed and in good spirits. We went to get are jacket checked downstairs, but unfortunately there were no hangers to put up them up. Now, this could have been a making of a bad night, but it all changed after I started to take in the sounds.

Team Canada alongside Jr. Flo were playing incredible music and my night, which had started to look sour, was beginning to turn around.

All I can say is the night was definitely an experience, the music that was played was just RANDOM, but I enjoyed it and that was the whole premise of the night; Shuffle. The crowd was very lively and easy going which also played a part in making this event such great one. Everybody was being free and just dancing and moving with the music.

The energy of this event is contagious and no matter how much you try to fight it the combination of exciting music and an exciting crowd will get you moving, so in my case I was wearing a big hefty jacket but still able to go crazy with the rest of crowd.

Shuffle is a Great event overall due to the skillfully talent of the DJ’s Team Canada and Jr Flow, also to the great crowd motivation which was provided T-rexx… The only con, I would say, was that it was really busy, but that’s the curse of any popular event
