I am sure the Mayor really sent the email as a joke. But such things are very sensitive to others. I mean I have friends of different races and we all crack jokes on each other. But that’s because we know each and are comfortable around one another. The Mayor on the other hands holds a high position within his society. There is no need for him to have sent that email with that picture. I just think that it was a huge mistake on his part. It was a very ridiculous thing to do knowing that the New York Post recently just got blasted for a similar cartoon they published, even though they stated that the cartoon had nothing to do with Obama and his African-American decent. However, some people still took it the wrong way as everyone perceives things differently.
