The dudes over at ThinkContra drop some pretty good posts more often than not. Thanks to the good sir Jonny Kates for pointing me into that direction. As a hip hop lover and a fan of Wu-Tang, I grew to love old classic kung-fu martial arts movies at an early age. The sound effects, mannerisms of movements and speech of characters within those types of movies all fascinated me. The trailer above is for the movie Gallants, which pays tribute to the Shaw Brothers by Hong Kong filmmakers Derek Kwok and Clement Cheng. Enjoy the trailer.

Yeah that’s MC Jin…the other cast may not be familiar to the western audience, but it’s backed by HK film veterans from the Shaw era like Cheng Kwan-Tai, Susan Shaw Yin-yin, and Bruce Leung.

Yes that’s JIN… He’s been killing it over in HK for the past few years landing movie roles, collablo’s with pop stars and even some advertising posters.
