I hate Nick Cage as much as the next person, his “deer in front of headlights” facial expressions are about as irritating as his horrible acting, but this is not his movie…this is a movie with him in it. To elaborate a lot of his previous films were made especially for him, but this movie is so much bigger than one person taking it on.

The trailer for this movie depicts a dude who simply can tell the next future events, which would have been fine in itself, if it weren’t for so many movies being based on this story. Though the trailer makes the movie look very shallow, I was extremely surprised about how much substance the film actually had and the topics it covered.

I don’t want to give too much away because this is the type of movie that really twists and turns. It’s a movie where you think you know what it’s about but then you assumption changes about 3 to 4 times until you fully understand in the end. I will say that there are a lot of bible references and they`re placed exceptionally well throughout the film.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I am very hard on movies and my ratio of good to bad films is around 1 out of 10 (1 good movie out of every 10 movies I watch) so if I am giving it praise, it might be something you want to look into
