This question is going to start popping up fairly soon. These two a very similar, even more then I realized at first; they’re both light skin pretty boys, they are both fairly talented, and they’re both being vouched by successful artists (Jay-Z & Lil Wayne).

It’s obvious that Drake has the upper hand as far as fame. He is the most talked about artist right now and he’s been making music with everyone under the sun, this gives Drake a head start, but on the other side, it puts a lot of pressure on him to make a perfect album.

Now, J.cole is still growing his fame (his feature on Jay-Z’s Star is Born definitely helped), but I suspected in a few months his name is going to be widely known. They both have similar content and they’re also both very honest in their music (I know Drake has been dropping brag verses lately, but that’s because he’s being featured on songs).

In my opinion; I think Drake has better lyrical talent, but J.cole is slightly deeper in his content. Then again, they’re both fairly new, so we are still waiting to hear their full catalogue of music.

But apart from my opinion, what do you think?
