In 2002 Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes was taken away from us as her career was on the cusp of its second wind. At age 30, Lopes was cut short from following her dreams as a solo artist with only one album, Supernova, which was released exclusively in Europe and Asia in 2001. Besides her small stint with Death Row Records (under the alias N.I.N.A.) no music of hers has been released…until now.

Mass Appeal Entertainment has announced today that Left Eye’s last solo project will be released finally. Entitled Eye-Legacy (not really a fan of the title), the album will feature 12 tracks of unreleased material with collaborations from Missy Elliot, Tupac, Chamillionaire, Lil’ Mama, and Bobby Valentino.

The first single off the new album will be “Let’s Just Do It,” featuring Missy Elliot.

Oddly enough, Eye Legacy is expected to come out in stores November 11th also known as Remembrance Day
