This is not the Tupac biopic that his mother is fighting for in the courts. This is actually an original story that Tupac wrote in jail in 95 when he was charged for sexual assault. The film is called Live 2 Tell and the screenplay has been circulating Hollywood since early 05.

The movie is about a lethal and dangerous drug kingpin who finally experiences his conscious and decides to change his life. Along with his biopic, Tupac’s mother also has the executive producer credit on this movie. Lucky for us, the movie has just been picked up by Insomnia Production, the same folks who produced the “Rome” mini-series on HBO.

The story is not extremely unique but with a name like Tupac attached to it, it will probably break some sort of records with the help of his fans.
