Hip hop might be dead in mainstream media, but there are other sites out there that can provide you with your QHH (Quality Hip Hop) Fix. For that reason, I have compiled a list of 7 Underrated sites that will fulfill your need for get content.

Woohah
A great site, that covers important news that other blogs happen to miss, and if you are a movie connoisseur like myself, you will be intrigued because woohah also covers new movie trailers and reviews.

Poisonous Paragraphs
This blog is hip hop, but what really stands out to me is the style of writing, it is personal, interesting and you really feel like you’re getting something out of it.

Urban Daily
Urban daily is an online magazine slash blog because it is not as large hiphopdx or allhiphop. I personally like that though, because it means I do not have to trample through a lot of content to find what I actually want to read, listen or watch.

Spine Magazine
Spine is not your typical magazine and it is clear once you visit it. The design is very unique and interactive and what makes this site very useful for me is that, the content is very quick which means I can take in a lot of information at one time

Oh Word
A nice blog, that is interesting in its content, I enjoy the mixes that they post up because it focuses on the golden era of music, the whole blog does actually.

The Kaos Effect:
A very interesting blog, it covers hip hop but also touches on politics and other forms of entertainment. Again what stands out to me is the writing style; it is very articulate with a side of wit. Worth a check out

Hip Hop Is Read:
I’m quite a big fan of this site because, it focuses on quality hip hop and quality news, so when I ever I visit, I know I’m going to be getting information that relates to me.

Bonus* Parlour Magazine
A Nice site from a female’s point of view, and even as a male, I find a lot of the posts to be very interesting, it at least worth a check out.
